Michaela Moore, a native of Memphis, TN, earned her degrees at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville before returning home to Memphis. During the challenges of teaching from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michaela faced overwhelming stress, anxiety, uncertainty, and the personal loss of her brother. In search of emotional healing, she turned to candle-making, a passion she had always loved. The peace and joy she found in crafting candles helped her navigate through this difficult time.
In June 2020, Michaela turned her passion into a business, launching Michaela's Candle Co. Since then, the company has gained hundreds of loyal followers and customers. The brand’s top seller, "Pinch of Paradise," remains one of the original scents that continues to captivate and bring relaxation to many.
